Liaison Traveler is underwritten by The Insurance Company of the State of Pennsylvania, a member company of the American International Group of Companies (AIG).

Multinational Underwriters - All plans are underwritten by Lloyd's, London which provides accident and health insurance to over 1,000,000 people in 100 countries. Lloyd's currently enjoys an A rating from Standard and Poors and is highly qualified to protect you on your next international trip.

HTH Worldwide - HTH insists on partnering with admitted U.S carriers. Our travel medical plans are underwritten by UNICARE Life & Health Insurance Company, a WellPoint Health Networks company. Wellpoint is one of the nation's largest health insurance companies. Our trip protection plans are underwritten by Stonebridge Casualty insurance Company and Monumental General Casualty Company, owned by AEGON. AEGON is one of the largest property and casualty companies in the world.

Citybond Travel Insurance - Citybond only offer travel insurance and motor breakdown products underwritten by Europ Assistance Holdings Limited.

Insure & Go - Insure & Go offer a comprehensive range of travel insurance products in association with well-known UK insurers including Royal and Sun Alliance Group plc, Gouda International and ACE Insurance SA-NV.

What type of policy should I get?
If you are going on a single trip then you require either a short stay or long stay travel plan depending on the duration of your trip. If your trip duration will not exceed 122 days, you should take a Single Trip policy. If you are travelling away on several trips throughout the next year you should take the Multi-Trip policy that fits your requirements.

What if I don't like my policy?
If after receiving your policy you are not entirely satisfied with it, a full refund will be given as long as it is returned to the insurer within 14 days and you have not travelled or made a claim.

What if I am over 65 years of age?

- been diagnosed within the last two years
- been in existence in the last two years

What if something goes wrong whilst I am away?
Travel Insurance providers generally provide a 24 hour emergency service contacts. They can be contacted 365 days a year and will provide immediate help if you fall ill or you are injured outside your country of residence. Also, as part of our Concierge service we can help should something go wrong which is not medically related.

Is scuba diving covered by the policy and what restrictions apply?
Yes you can be covered for scuba diving. The only restrictions we apply is that you must be a qualified diver and do not dive beyond your qualified depth, or that you dive with a qualified instructor. The insurance is subject to the standard terms, conditions, exclusions and warranties of the policy.

You will receive your Insurance Validation by email, this is your receipt. This is why it is very important to supply a valid email address when purchasing your insurance.

What is a deductible?
A deductible, sometimes called an excess, is a way for the insurance company to reduce claims and your premium. If your plan has a $100 deductible, you pay the first $100 of expenses and then the insurance company picks up the rest. Generally, the more deductible you choose, the lower the cost and vice versa.
